Happy Labor Day!

We are not laboring over here at Casa Gargiulo. Mario golfed with his shoer buddies this morning, and I got a slow start to doing some laundry, reading emails, cleaning my desk, and hangin' with the critters.

Yesterday was a big day. We walked to the gym (2 miles round trip)... Let's just say it's been a long time since our shadows darkened their doorway! We did a fast treadmill walk for a half hour and then stretched a little (holy tightness!) before heading back home. Then, went to the barn where Mario fixed Jackson, the ever-breaking-down wheelbarrow/barrel. I rode Jordan for the first time - at least the first succesful time - in 3 months. He was a good boy overall, and I didn't add to my lumpy ass with another hematoma. I was impressed with how much just walking and trotting around took out of me. But that's ok, I don't think Jordan minded and it was good to be back on the horse so to speak.

Milwaukee was awesome, but in typical Sossity fashion I managed to leave my camera behind. It has been kindly shipped backed to me by Aunt Lois, I should probably get it this week, and I will download and share the festivities enjoyed while there for Alison & Jeremy's wedding.

In the meantime I will share a picture of - what else! the morning nap crew... (with an imposter this time!)
