After my slightly hysterical threat to my local branch of staging a sit down in the main lobby where I would not leave until the issue was resolved or I was carted off in a squad car...
We got our money back! Walah - today was a mere 4 hours straight of phone calls and suddenly it just *appears*. The finger pointing continued, we may never know what the story actually was, but I suspect it all came down to a case of a fax machine not having been refilled with paper on the 12th of December. How else do you explain 35 releases from the IRS coming through all at once... today???? Hmmm.
Regardless, I am giddy at the thought of my own hard earned money being returned to my account (and the business account). We were not having a gifty Christmas this year anyway, things are tight, tight, tight already anyway... kinda like my clothes after all the stress eating I've been doing. But anyway, we aren't going to go rushing out buying gifts, but it feels joyful anyway to be able to pay the mortgage, detailing supplier, my horse's board, etc. It really does.
So in honor of joy... here is a video clip Mario took of a mini horse that we trim, named Bear. He's actually called a dwarf mini, because he is only 24" tall... he is the sweetest, cutest little guy, and as you can see he loves life...
