Mario and I went to the Santa Barbara Zoo for Savannah's 2nd birthday party. (Savannah is Mario's best friend Randall's first baby, and Mario is her Godfathah!) It was right in the middle of our recent record breaking heat wave ~ phew! Was quite hot..JPG)
We had pizza and cupcakes and Savannah opened her presents (sorta, Mom Rhonda helped a lot ;-)). Savannah has green icing from her birthday cupcake on her face in the first shot. The little round head in the hat is Justin! Can you believe how big he got? After the party we all checked out the zoo, which was great! I do wish we could really relax and take it all in; I had to go to work after the party. But still - all in all, a really lovely way to spend the better part of the day.
