Linx, for some reason, did not mind wearing this Christmas scarf at all, and walked around the house with it like it was totally normal kitty attire.
What the eff was the previous color anyway?! Is that taupe? It looked brown when it was next to the other walls which were green (why? we're not totally clear on that). Once we started painting the peach on there, the color turned this weird purply color. The new color is so fresh and clean and a huge improvement. A home improvements post will be forthcoming...

New table assembled. The chairs were purchased separately - somehow they managed to match perfectly! The room is not complete, though - the curtains are not actually hung, and we need some more embelishments in the room. It feels a little empty right now, but we have zero experience decorating a small dining room. It was my office for the last 15 years, so it's going to take some getting used to. Any ideas? Small art on either side of the window maybe? Or we're thinking a small wine rack in the corner? We need a new light over the table, the current one is a ceiling fan that will probably be relocated into our bedroom...

I think a nice, small size cocktail table, lil wine bar table could be nice in the corner, where bottles and wine glasses could hang? And also side dishes can reside, and candles, when the table is full, you could also store pretty fabric napkins in a side table, or store table cloths there!
