Oh Christmas Tree

We popped open a bottle of champagne on Thursday and decorated the Christmas tree... Mario made some sweet potato fries and we dipped 'em in poppyseed dressing. (isn't that on everyone's holiday snack list?)

I tried to put Bogey's Santa outfit on him, but he's um... outgrown it... just like I've outgrown everything but my trimming jeans and t-shirts!

Instead Linx ended up modeling the outfit. For about 10 seconds at a time before he threw himself on the ground and kicked it off (literally). It was very entertaining I must admit.

At one point I had the waist part of the costume around Bogey's head, and it turned upside down as he ran around - putting the white collar cuff under his neck and making him look like he was wearing a neck brace. Also very entertaining. Maybe it was the champagne that was so entertaining to me?

We have had a lot of rain over the last few days. The picture below was taken today at almost 5pm as I left the barn... I like when the little cloud/mist patches lay low against the hills - this one isn't nearly as pretty as many but I took it out of the car window with my phone as I drove by the orange orchard...
