Mario and I went to visit my mom in her new place in Upper Ojai. I had heard a lot about it and seen some pictures, but you really have to see it in person to appreciate it. It's really beautiful!! Amazing views of the Topa mountains, orange and lemon groves, hay fields with amber bales of hay... Peter made a delicious brunch and mom and I drank alot of sangria. I spent most of the time sitting with her on a bench and just chatting while taking in the view. I hope she enjoyed it...I know I sure did! We also went for a walk and got to see some of the property, which is dotted with incredible viewing, congregation, yoga and meditation areas. Along the pathways you may come across a stone dragon lining a rock formation in the woods, or a huge Buddha statue smiling across at you. Or even a gorgeous bath house with terra cotta tiles and water bowls filled with colorful flowers. It's so quiet and peaceful there, I can see becoming in touch with yourself and your world on a new level.
