Some November Updates

A real live cabbage patch in Lompoc
(on the way to one of my clients)

Mario rode a client's horse named Buddy. Buddy is for sale at a very reasonable price, and we just had to give him a test spin as a possibility for a husband horse for Mario. Unfortunately it was not a love connection, but we DID have a great time heading out on the trails on a Sunday morning just the two (4) of us. It definitely lit a little fire in us to experience how fun and relaxing it could be to head out on the trails together. As a result of putting that energy out there, there is now a chance that Mario and I will try leasing Bucky - the horse featured in past posts of Mario riding. I will surely be updating the blog when more happens on that front.
We are pretty excited about it!!Jordan cam on our trail ride. This is just outside of the barn area.

Some owners trim their own horses themselves, but like to have a professional come and do a check up every 6 months or so to make sure they are still on the right track. One of my regular clients friends is such an owner/trimmer, and asked me to come out for a visit. She's just outside of Oxnard on the Pacific Coast Highway - technically Malibu, right after Sycamore Canyon. Her road had incredible views of the ocean! There were a lot of ships out there, unusual. We thought maybe they were out off the coast for some Veteran's Day event? The pic above was on our way up, and the pic below was on our way back down.

Mario starts his day with a cup of coffee and 3 or 4 fat furry creatures on his lap

Hi Sossity! Our new boy has tiny little shoes on his front feet which will hopefully get removed by our great trimmer this week. I'm going to include his hoof rehab along with his body rehab in weeks to come. He has pretty compromised feet and this will be the biggest challenge so far for the Rock Spa! Carmon
