Little Update

Jordan and I had another lesson. We worked hard!

It's good to know what we need to work on, though ...

Kitties laying on the bed. They have a long nap there every day.

Kitties laying on the bed on a totally different day. They take this task very seriously. Chloe was actually asleep this way, with her paws on Logan's face.

We had my mom over for Mother's Day ... pomegranate margaritas, a big salad, hanging out with the critters on the patio and then inside to laugh at ourselves while playing Wii.

I started taking belly dance lessons with my mom. I still can hardly believe I am doing it (most who know me know that I usually only dance when I am trashed!), but 2 classes in and so far it's really good. I am so proud of my mom for getting back into giving the classes, and the group of girls is wonderful... beautiful and fun! I have had fits of giggles watching myself in the full length wall of mirrors... if I focus on one area, like my feet or midsection, I think "hey, not so bad...!" and then my eyes go to my arms, hands or face and I have to laugh at them stiffly posed or off doing their own inexplicable thing. (At one point I definitely looked like I was doing the Monster Mash! - lol) Conversely, my mom makes it look sensual, exotic, sometimes sassy... something to aspire to... Stay tuned!

My cousin Jeromy and his wife Stephanie had a baby girl. She was only 2 lbs. 6 oz. at birth, but rallied quickly and was breathing on her own in a few short days. Stephanie was able to hold her at one week old. Due to her early arrival, they didn't have a name decided upon, but I've heard one is coming soon...

And speaking of coming soon ~ my cousin Rebecca is in labor as I type this!

Baby Boy Bressani will be joining the world this side of Rebecca's bellay very soon...

I can hardly believe it, my little cousin is having a baby... it seems like a short while ago, in some ways, that we were playing with our Cabbage Patch dolls and making paper ice cream parlours with crayons and our imaginations.
