Wintry Weather (for us)

Ok, Ok, I know people in other areas are dealing with "real" weather as in frigid temps, or snow or ice, or all three. Mario's friend Kevin in Minnesota reported -26 with wind chill yesterday, for example. The Boombatz report snowflakes like doilies. The Joffes (my cousins! just added their blog to my followed blogs) are even dealing with wacky weather in Texas. This is our version... it was only 43 degrees where I was working, pouring rain and sustained winds of 20mph with gusts to double that. We're expecting hail... So for us - brrr! The pugs are using the weather as a great opportunity to perfect their couch pugtato skills.

I trimmed as many muddy, flailing hooves as I could today but finally gave up and am just going to have a marathon trimming day tomorrow instead. I went grocery shopping and am already sipping wine from a nice big, fat goblet. Big House Red. I haven't been drinking (except Steph's party) because of being sick, but today really calls for it I tell ya. Weather aside, and again I won't go into details, but lets just say things have been a little tough around here... So I am having a cup of cheer!!

Edited to add a client just told me via email that there were flurries in Malibu!! (only a few miles from where I was trimming this morning). Here's a cute pic of Mario and Bailey I took tonite. (to make this edit feel worthwhile, gotta add a picture!!)
