The House

OK at Rebecca's request, here are some photos of **The House**. Ironically to answer your question Becka there is a beautiful little glass greenhouse (!) and a large existing garden bed outside of that as well. It's on just over 2 acres. It's been vacant for awhile, so the landscaping has overgrown and some plants have died without water, there are empty raised beds... There's a 2nd / back entrance through a little courtyard that has bouganveilia (sp) trying to grow still, some wild roses and native plants taking over. It all wants us there to help and nurture it. ;)

Mario and I drove by there yesterday just to take a peak, and the gate was open... we ended up driving in and sneaking around and were just beside ourselves!! It felt like the Secret Garden - so much potential and so many *perfect* touches and features for us that it felt like home... felt like we already were living there in some other life and just needed to remember and regrow it all. Crazy! Like a little bird house amongst some foliage, a light switch cover (seen through the window) of a copper gecko, a little froggy bench tucked in the side of a bush (like small enough for a squirrel to sit on ;-)) It needs some work, no doubt about it - but what a labor of love and we could do it over the years... Someone was re-building the deck off the master and a small deck from the dining room. Looked like it had wood damage. I am so afraid this means someone has put in a contingent bid!!!

Living room (it's a rough U shape with the upstairs a loft with bedroom views down to the living room from either side. (that is what is above the fireplace, one of the rooms) The railing is pretty 80s but of course we already have ideas for what to replace it with. The windows/doors off the living room go directly to the pool area)

The pool is smaller than it looks here, but juuuust right. ;) The water from the top jacuzzi part flows down over the rocks into the lower pool.
